Open For Business - Covid-19 Guidelines

On the 16th of March, 2020, The Boathouse Gallery temporarily closed for business due to Covid-19 restrictions. Although there was so much uncertainty at first, we knew it wouldn't be long before our business was open to customers again. At long last, on Monday the 8th of June, The Boathouse Gallery was reopened. With some minor adjustments to the layout of the gallery, whilst putting the necessary safety precautions in place, we are now able to welcome our wonderful customers in store again. Operating a one way system around the gallery allows our customers to browse our selection of contemporary Irish Art, in an open, creative and peaceful environmenmt, whilst adhering to government guidelines.

Have a look below to see the various safety precautions in place in the gallery. These include a protective perspex screen, a hand sanitising station, and social distancing guidelines. Our customers also have the option to pay in either cash or contactless payment.

Our high ceilings, open space, and natural light create the perfect viewing space for our wide selection of paintings, ceramics, jewellery, mixed media pieces, and more. Whether you're looking for a one of a kind piece of art to brighten up your home, or a small gift for a special someone, we have a wide, diverse selection to choose from. Pop in and visit us to have a browse and get some creative inspiration!

We currently have a variety of new work and new artists in stock. We even feature some colourful, handmade masks by local artist Carolanne Crosbie, to keep you stylish and safe during our current pandemic, with part of the profits being donated to our local hospital.

We hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

All at The Boathouse Gallery, Kinsale.
